Eyebeam
Following article describes how to
configure your Eyebeam softphone for use
with BroadTelephone PC 2 Phone service.
Installing Eyebeam for Windows:
To begin installing the Eyebeam
phone, double-click the installation
file on your desktop. Simply read the
instructions and continue clicking next
until you reach a page with a series of
check boxes. It is recommended that you
select both "Create a desktop icon" and
"Launch the application when Windows
starts."
Press "Install" on the next screen.
After the process has completed, check
the box that says "Launch Eyebeam." You
are now ready to configure your phone
with the instructions below.
Configuring Eyebeam:
After installing and running the
Eyebeam software for the first time the
SIP Account Settings menu shown below
should appear automatically.
If the settings menu does not appear,
or to reach this menu any time in the
future, right click on the softphone
anywhere and then click on 'Settings'
Enter the values as shown below. The
Ten Digit Number to use is the full Ten
Digit Number assigned to you. The
password field will need to contain the
SureRing assigned password necessary for
the phone to register.
After filling in the fields click OK
to close out of the SIP Account Settings
menu. The softphone should display
"Logged in" at the very top of the
display as well as "Your number is:" and
your phone number. The phone is now
registered and ready to make calls
